01 / Find your space
Get Clayground from its Meta Quest listing. Clear a comfortable working area and follow the headset’s safety guidance. Choose your virtual studio or mixed-reality view, then use the in-app tutorial to learn the controls.
02 / Make your first shape
Choose Clay and build a simple form. Try Smooth to soften it, Move to pull it into shape, and Paint to give it colour. Brush size and your working scale help you move between big forms and small details.
03 / Build in layers
Use separate layers for parts you want to adjust independently. Name and save your work as it grows. Capture a useful piece as a stamp to reuse it. Symmetry helps with repeated or balanced shapes.
04 / Animation
The animation timeline captures sculpted poses. Add a frame, adjust the next pose, and use holds to control timing. Onion skins help compare poses. Play the result before exporting your animation.
05 / Bring it out of the headset
Export a model from the app, then enable Share in Capture. On a phone or computer on the same local network, open the address displayed in the headset and download the selected export. You can also access exports in the headset’s Downloads folder.
Open GLB in a compatible 3D application or try the private browser preview on our Publish page. Local Share is a local-network download feature; it is not a public gallery upload.
