Four free clay games, one page
Everything here runs in a web browser, on a phone, a laptop or a TV. There's nothing to install, no account and no headset. I made them out of the same clay as the browser studio, so anything you sculpt can end up in a game.
Two of them you can play alone right now. The other two are party games for a room full of people: one screen hosts, and everyone joins on their own phone with a four-letter code.
How friends join a party game
- Open this page on the screen everyone can see (a laptop, a TV, or your stream) and press Host a game.
- Everyone else opens clayvr.com/play on their phone and types the four-letter code, or scans the QR code on the big screen.
- Pick Blend In, Sculpt-off or Smoosh on the big screen, and start when everyone's in.
- If a phone drops out, open the same link again and choose Rejoin: you come back as the same player.
Smoosh: a cute clay brawler
A platform fighter in the spirit of Smash: hits push your damage up, and the higher it climbs, the further the next hit sends you. Knock everyone off the floating island to win. Play the computer, a friend online, or up to eight people around one big screen. You can fight as one of eight clay fighters, or sculpt your own. Play Smoosh.
Blend In daily: today's puzzle
One clay scene a day, the same for everyone. Study it, then find the five impostors that sneak in, with eight taps to do it. About two minutes, with a streak to keep. Play today's puzzle.
Blend In: prop hunt in clay
Everyone studies a cute clay scene. Then, while the seeker looks away, you sneak in as a copy of one of its props: one more cupcake on the bakery counter, an extra duck on the toy shelf. The seeker gets a few taps to spot you. 2 to 12 players, or up to 50 in streamer mode. How Blend In works.
Sculpt-off: sculpt the prompt, then vote
Everyone gets the same silly prompt (a potato with big dreams, a shy volcano) and 90 seconds to sculpt it on their phone. Then everyone votes. With just two of you, each sculpts a secret prompt and guesses the other's. 2 to 8 players. How Sculpt-off works.
Questions people ask
Are the games really free?
Yes. No account, no ads in the games, nothing to buy. They run in any modern browser.
Do I need a headset?
No. The games are for phones and computers. The VR app, Clayground on Meta Quest, is a separate sculpting app.
Can we play over a video call?
Yes. Share the big screen in your call, and everyone joins on their own phone with the code. For two people on their own screens, Smoosh has Play a friend online.
Is it like Jackbox?
It's the same idea: one shared screen and phones as controllers. These are free and made of clay. I wrote more about it in free party games to play on phones.
